1. What we collect

  • Order information: order number, package, amount, payment status, payment channel, and order time.
  • Contact information you choose to provide, such as an email address used for support or refunds.
  • Payment identifiers returned by the payment provider, used for reconciliation and duplicate-order prevention.
  • Support messages and the correspondence you send us.
  • Website analytics through our self-hosted Umami instance: page views, referral source, and device type. Umami does not use cookies and does not identify individuals.
  • Server logs: time, IP address, request path, and error information, used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
  • Device and environment data: a hashed hardware identifier, device name, operating system and version, CPU architecture, client version, and Resolve version and installation path.
  • A temporary 16 kHz mono audio copy created on your computer for transcription. It is uploaded to our object storage, submitted to the speech recognition service, and deleted when the job ends (success, failure, or cancellation); if deletion fails, a lifecycle rule removes it within one day.
  • Product funnel events: whether a step was reached (launch, Resolve connected, media imported, transcript created, edit applied), once per device per event.
  • Update checks and balance/authorisation checks: current version, platform, product line, device credential, order number, or authorisation credential.

2. What we do not collect

  • Your original media or DaVinci Resolve project files. We process only the temporary audio copy described above.
  • Your full card number, expiry date, or security code. Card data is handled by the payment processor.
  • Your contacts, messages, photos, precise location, or unrelated files on your computer.

3. How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the service: order verification, balance restoration, downloads, and updates.
  • Process billing, payments, and invoices.
  • Provide customer support, refunds, and dispute handling.
  • Send service notices about updates, policy changes, and security.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised sharing of order numbers or device credentials.
  • Measure aggregate website and product usage.
  • Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, including as "sale" is defined by the CCPA. We share only what is necessary with:

  • Payment processors: WeChat Pay, Alipay, and Waffo Pancake (international card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay).
  • Infrastructure: Alibaba Cloud ECS, which hosts the website and installer downloads.
  • Speech recognition and object storage: Volcengine TOS and SeedASR, located in Beijing, China.
  • Analytics: our self-hosted Umami instance.

6. Security

The website and APIs use HTTPS/TLS. Hardware identifiers and device tokens are stored as SHA-256 hashes; we do not keep their raw values. Order and balance data are stored on servers we control, with access limited to necessary personnel. Temporary audio is deleted after the job; a lifecycle rule removes leftovers within one day.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise a right, email us. We may need to verify your order or device details before acting.

We do not sell personal information. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the rights provided by the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local authority.

8. Cross-border transfer

Website and order data are stored on servers in the People's Republic of China (Alibaba Cloud). International card data is processed outside China by Waffo Pancake and its partners. Speech recognition and temporary audio storage use Volcengine in Beijing, China; if you use the service from outside China, your audio is transferred to and processed in China.

Where a cross-border transfer requires safeguards, we ask the recipient to provide protections comparable to those required by applicable law and to use contractual safeguards. Contact us if you need the details for your jurisdiction.

9. Children

The service is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the website or through the contact details you provided. Questions: 1217654940@qq.com.
