Free to try, no account needed
After installing JackAICut you can process 60 minutes of DaVinci Resolve timeline for free (a 15-minute timeline uses 15 minutes of that trial). If a job fails, the minutes come straight back.
What does it cost after the free minutes run out?
You pay by timeline length: $10 for 5 hours, purchased inside the app by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. This is not a countdown on the software itself — leaving it open without cutting anything costs nothing, and minutes are refunded automatically if a job fails. Only the length of the timeline you hand it matters, not how short the result is: cutting a 3-hour timeline down to 20 minutes still uses 3 hours. Purchased minutes never expire, stack on top of each other, and are shared across your computers — enter any past order number on a new machine to restore them.
Do I have to use it with an Agent?
No. Without an Agent you can use it as a text-based cutting tool built for DaVinci Resolve. Compared with Resolve's own text editing, JackAICut transcribes more accurately and cuts tighter. Pick the passages you want to keep, and it assembles them into a new timeline in one go.
Will it change my existing DaVinci project?
Never. JackAICut only creates a new cut timeline or subtitle track inside your current project. Your source media, color nodes, and existing timelines stay exactly as they were — there is no destructive step.
Does it support Windows and Mac? Which Resolve do I need?
Windows x64 and Apple Silicon Mac. You need DaVinci Resolve Studio. On Mac, please use the Studio build from Blackmagic's website — the Mac App Store version is not supported.
Windows says “Windows protected your PC” — what should I do?
That's SmartScreen warning about an installer that isn't code-signed yet. It doesn't mean the installer is malicious. Click More info → Run anyway to continue. Please only download from the button on jackaicut.com. We're working on Windows code signing; later builds will reduce this warning.
Can I get a refund?
Within 7 days of purchase, unused minutes are refundable on a pro-rata basis; minutes you have already used are not refundable. Email the support address in the footer with your order number and we'll reply within 7 business days. The full rules are in Section 7 of the Terms.
